As many of you already know I recently attended the National Stampin' Up! Convention in Salt Lake City, Utah. I drove with four other Lincoln area demonstrators in a rented van for 13 hours through Nebraska and Wyoming. (It a good thing we like each other so much!)
Here I am with my fellow Nebraska demonstrator friends at the
Stampin' Up! headquarters.
Since this was Stampin' Up!'s 25th Anniversary year we were anticipating lots of free giveaways and let me tell you they did not disappoint us!
Here is a picture of me with my downline, Jenni, right after we received another free stamp set! So excited! The 5 day adventure was filled with lots of inspiration and learning. I was blown away by the training, creativity AND community service that Stampin' Up! provides.
Here is one of the many projects that we completed while we were there in the make N' take room. And by "room" I mean a room big enough for 1000's of demonstrators to stamp together! This card was made using the "Hello Lovely" stamp set and the "Gorgeous Grunge" stamp set. The color palette includes Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana, Summer Starfruit, Calypso Coral, Old Olive and Bermuda Bay Classic Ink Pads. But it is the little details that make this card pop! Like the thin strip of Silver Glimmer Paper underneath the Coastal Cabana arrow, the ivory Vintage Designer buttons, the Rhinestone, or the White Baker's twine that was dyed with the Coastal Cabana Ink Pad. And just a tiny stripe of Epic Day Washi Tape adds just the right amount of texture!
I hope to share with you many more fun projects using all the terrific gifts that Stampin' Up! gave us at convention! I love this company!
